Leading others to understand that all we have are gifts from God. We are to share them generously with others as we participate actively in the life of the church, and take responsibility for the world in which we live.
Stewardship is a spirituality – a way of life that calls us to receive God’s gifts with gratitude, share them lovingly and give an account to God of how His gifts were used.
Stewardship is based on the principles and teachings of the Bible. It is a way of thanking God for all His blessings by returning a portion of the time, talent and treasure He has entrusted to us.
Stewardship is about being responsible for God’s gifts He has given to us; talents, time, finances, possessions, relationships, opportunities. It is about what we do with what we have.
Stewardship is about being a functioning member of the Body of Christ. It is about our involvement in the life of the Church, but it extends beyond the church walls into the wider society to care for God’s creation, the earth on which we live, our brothers and sisters who share it with us and the creatures which dwell on it.
Stewardship – Grateful recipients of God’s gifts.
